Message from the Founder

I want to take a moment to connect with you directly as we all begin to adjust to our current state of affairs with this awful virus. The rapidly changing situation in the world has everyone on edge and in need of connection maybe more than ever in our lifetime, exactly as limiting physical contact is one of the most important things we can do.

As all of this unfolds, we will all be making adjustments to the way we live and work. While many professions have the ability to work from home, this option is not available to everyone. Our production and retail teams are both in the latter category, though we are trying to find ways. I am committed to making it easy and safe to get the product you love, however you feel most comfortable. I am also committed to continuing to provide employment for my wonderful, talented, and highly trained staff.

Keeping Dark Garden open for business has a whole new meaning today, different than it had yesterday, and that was different than the week before! As you may know, San Francisco is under a Shelter in Place mandate until April 7th. I have chosen to do so here at Dark Garden and so am available to connect virtually with current and new clients in the boutique.

In addition to making sure we stay on top of current production deadlines, we are implementing a new virtual shopping and fitting service – bringing the fitting to you with a combination of video chat and shipping size samples wherever you may be. We have done remote fittings and consultations since day one, and it’s become easier and easier as technologies improve.
